We went to Cane Creek in Waxhaw, NC to camp in November. It was cold.

We spent a lot of time sitting next to the campfire trying to keep warm. We tried a new dessert. We cooked apples on sticks and rolled them in cinnamon sugar. They were good except when you drop one in the fire.

We earned a frost point on this campout. Ms. Laura said it wasn't fair because she doesn't do winter camping.
