Scouting For Food

Troop 130 spent two Saturdays participating in Scouting for Food. This is a large service project that is done by scouts all over the country. In our area, we collect food to be donated to the Fort Mill Care Center.
The scouts spent the first weekend hanging door hangers on houses. This let the people know what we would be collecting and when we would pick it up.
The next weekend, we went back to get the food. We collected a total of 1270 pounds of food for the care center.
