Passing on the skills and lessons earned by a Scout is one of BSA’s core values. With the new Arrow of Light Scouts joining our troop, we wanted to give them a hand in what it takes to be a Scout.

So on Saturday (12/5) we set up a skills camp for the new Scouts. We taught a range of skills, including maps, fire building, tent pitching, ax safety, and knots.

We all certainly had a fun time, and it was great to see each other after months of virtual meetings.
