We hiked on the Peak to Prosperity trail. This is a 10 mile hike that goes from point to point, but we did 15 miles by going 7.5 miles and then hiking back.

This was a cool trail. You start by going across the Broad River on this old Railroad Tressel. There are a bunch of bridges along the way that cross smaller creeks and streams.

We saw a lot of animals. There were a bunch of birds that made nests under the bridge for the highway. They were flying in and out of the nests. The nests looked like wasps nests.

We saw a striped water snake. We were on the bridge and Ben saw it down in the stream. There were a bunch of turtles. They were really big. They may have been snapping turtles. They were far away. Miss Ellen and Miss Laura saw a river otter.

One more hike to go for the Hiking MB.
