Camp Barnhardt 2024 - Midnight Rodeo

Howdy Pardner, welcome to the Wild West and the Midnight Rodeo at Camp John J. Barnhardt. This was our third year doing summer camp at Barnhardt. This year, the theme was all about cowboys and traveling the Barnhardt Trail.

Our scouts got all into the theme this year. We wore our cowboy shirts and hats. We had inflatable cowboy costumes and even a cow costume. We built a couple of covered wagons to travel along the trail.

As always, Camp Barnhardt was awesome. Four of our scouts had just flown back from Philmont in New Mexico a few days ago and still came out to summer camp. All of the new scouts came and participated in the New Scout program. And three leaders got all their leader training done too.
