Chester State Park Fall Campout

We liked Chester State Park, so we went back. There is a big open area to camp in. There is a lot of fun stuff to do. Mr. Kevin took some scouts fishing again. Ms. Ellen took some scouts to play disc golf. You can get disc golf clubs at the ranger station.

We did a fun campfire program. Each patrol did a skit. We retired a few flags that were donated to our troop. The adults taught some scouts how to make dump cakes in the Dutch ovens. They were good.

On Saturday the youngest scouts earned the Fire Chit. They are excited that they could build the campfire for that night.
