Spring Camporee 2023

Spring Camporee was at Camp Conely Clark. We set up our tents and the kitchen. We drew our patrol flags for the competition.

The next day we had to build the best campsite. We packed up our supplies and took them up a hill to a big field. We picked eight scouts who were allowed inside "the campsite zone". The scouts outside the campsite started tying the ropes to make stuff. They made a dish washing station and a giant gateway tower with four flags. The kids on the inside set up tents and made an ax yard and fire ring.

In the afternoon we tomahawk throwing and skeet shooting. We also played games like dodge ball and dragon tail. Some kids hung around camp and got requirements done.

Some of the kids are learning to cook with Dutch ovens. They made really good lasagna for dinner. They had a candy topped brownie for dessert.
