Summer Camp

Troop 130 left on July 12 for Summer Camp. We had around 20 people attend. They were all excited to go and spend a week at Camp Raven Knob.

It was an extremely fun time. There were a bunch of things the scouts could do. They earned a bunch of merit badges. At the water front scouts could go swimming, canoeing and paddle boarding. They could also do some fishing, but nobody did. The trading post was a place to buy stuff like slush puppies and souvenirs. I think all the younger scouts bought knives. One night a lot of kids went to the climbing tower. It seemed like a fun activity.

All the Raven Scouts came back with a lot of rank requirements done. They also spent a morning climbing to the top of The Knob. It was really cool.

Overall, it was a very nice camp.
